intimate objects

These miniature objects are mixed-media fiber sculptures, explorations of organic structure based on plant specimens gathered near my home in Oakland, California. My sculpture practice tends to vibrate between tiny and huge. On either end of the scale I am looking for deep experiential engagement; intimate/precious or overwhelming/encompassing, and either way, a bit unsettling.
