Sarah Lowe is a sculptor whose practice engages indiscriminately with art, design, craft, spectacle, scholarship, and play. She makes spaces and objects that provoke a prismatic understanding: shifty, gorgeous and unsettling. Sarah holds a BFA in Art from Carnegie Mellon and an MFA in Digital Media from San José State University; her art-making strategies are deeply informed by her years of work in theatre production and metal casting. She makes, thinks, and lives in Oakland, California.
