calyx + passiflora

calyx and passiflora were commissioned for the Autumn Lights Festival at the Gardens at Lake Merritt. They are floral forms photogaphed, enlarged, laser-cut from Tyvek, and illuminated. The works gently engage the garden environment and created a corner of quiet within the active and colorful community event.
